Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Salih İyikesici is a dedicated and visionary medical oncologist who has devoted his career to the fight against cancer and to giving patients hope. His passion for oncology grew out of a desire to touch the lives of those affected by cancer and to make a difference.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. İyikesici earned his medical degree at Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine, completed his residency in internal medicine at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital, and his fellowship in medical oncology at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine. He founded the Department of Medical Oncology at Diyarbakır Training and Research Hospital. He also completed advanced training in hyperthermia at specialized centers in Germany and Switzerland, keeping him in close contact with the latest developments in oncologic research and treatment.

Combining empathy with innovation in his patient-centered approach, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İyikesici is among the pioneering physicians bringing current scientific research into clinical practice. He works tirelessly to ensure his patients have access to the most advanced and effective cancer treatments available.

A prolific researcher, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İyikesici has made significant contributions to the field of medical oncology through his work alongside Prof. Dr. Bülent Berkarda, publishing numerous peer-reviewed articles that advance scientific understanding of cancer and its treatment.

As the founder of the ONCOMSI approach, he leads the development of an integrative treatment model that combines standard oncologic care with complementary protocols such as metabolically controlled oncological treatment, hyperthermia, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and the ketogenic diet.
